Parks Victoria had a nice architecturally designed toilet facility destroyed by fire at Rain Forest Gallery near Warburton in 2010 . The fire was suspicious. Victorian Government insurance funds were available to reconstruct the facility. Two attempts were made for architects to design, engineers to sign off, collection well specialist to submit proposals for no fee… both attempts exceeding the available pool of funds and abandoned.
Pureablue submitted a proposal for a turn key installation of an Our Country OC2 building, melded with a CWT 10000 system, and a FWT 3000 fresh water system. This was achievable under the available funds. Installation took only three days, so site disruption was minimised.
PV have since landscaped the facility with a particular emphasis on preventing vehicles (4WDs) approaching the building. Time will tell if the vandals return.
