The solution offered was a Conablue CAB2 building configured for flush system. Water supply was a CWT 10000 litre fresh water storage tank mounted on a raised bank adjacent to the facility. Water gravity feeds to a pressure pump mounted in the plant room. This provided pressurised water to the two cisterns and sinks. Modern cisterns require 30 KPA to operate and have a satisfactory recovery rate. Waste was directed to a CWT 10000 primary storage, with a spill over CWT 3000 secondary tank. Both these tanks comply with AS1546.1 (2008) mandatory for storage of human waste.
A Management Plan was supplied with the project. Water level in the supply tank must be kept replenished…it would be a management nightmare if the water supply should run out…and taking waste off site periodically ensuring no discharge to adjacent ground… also an environmental imperative. The installation went smoothly over five working days.
